Greetings! I’m Patti Londre, food marketing and PR practitioner with a longtime history of providing corporate and product PR to America’s most loved food brands. A graduate home economist and entrepreneur, my career has been full throttle culinary since age 16 — every job has been in food (oops – one Christmas I sold suits at a department store, but quickly returned to food!). Yes, you can add “award winning” to these credentials, too.
When I joined the blogging community as publisher of Worth The Whisk, I soon started helping bloggers who wanted to reach their next level with education and networking. My food and PR industry contacts wanted in, too — they were excited to meet bloggers personally in an environment that’s conducive to bonding. Camp Blogaway was born!
So, why a real camp? To be DIFFERENT, frankly. The mountains are gorgeous, quiet, down-to-earth, affordable and more fun than hotel venues and convention centers. Our space is intimate (only 100 total can squeeze in here).
There are plenty of conferences out there to choose from; THIS is a gathering of bloggers who are passionate home cooks and chefs. On-site sponsors are relevant to this culinary audience and focus on providing fresh, usable insights and content.
